Small Portable Concrete Washout Containers for Tight Job Sites

CleanSite’s 1.5 and 2.5 yard washout pans are small enough for driveways, city lots and tight commercial sites where there’s no room to dig a pit. They still hold 300 and 475 gallons.

  • EPA, NPDES and BMP compliant
  • Delivery, pick-up and disposal handled
  • Containers and pans from 1.5 to 9 cubic yards
Tight sites

When there’s no room for a pit

A dug washout pit needs real room on the site. On a city lot or a residential driveway, that space doesn’t exist.

A small pan solves it. It sits on a small footprint and it’s watertight, so it can go where a pit can’t, and the 1.5 yard pan fits under a pump hopper.

Where they fit

Jobs made for a small washout pan

City lots

On infill buildings, the property line’s on every side and there’s no spare ground.

Driveways and homes

On a residential pour, a pit would wreck the yard the owner’s about to landscape.

Sidewalks and curbs

Street work means the pan sits near traffic, and it’s got to stay clear of catch basins.

Under the pump

The 1.5 yard pan is low enough to sit under a pump hopper, so the clean-out goes straight in. See pump truck washout.

On a tight lot

What washout looks like on a tight job

On a small lot, the ready-mix truck usually parks at the curb and the chute reaches over the fence. There’s nowhere to dig, and the nearest catch basin might be right there in the gutter. That’s exactly where a driver’s tempted to rinse.

A small pan sits right next to the truck’s back end. The driver rinses into it, the crew keeps pouring, and nobody has to explain gray water in the street to an inspector later. When it’s full, we come and get it.

On any construction project, the right small container is the one that keeps concrete waste away from storm drains and gets it off site. That’s the whole washout solution.
