The rules

New Jersey washout rules in brief

In New Jersey, you can’t wash out just anywhere. The 5G3 construction stormwater permit allows concrete washout only in a designated washout area, and hardened concrete has to be removed and properly disposed of. Your soil conservation district’s the one that reviews and certifies soil erosion plans.

How it works

From delivery to pick-up

CleanSite truck setting a concrete washout container down on a job site
Step 1

We deliver the container

We set it where your trucks can reach it. The small pans fit tight spots, and the 1.5 yard pan slides under a pump truck hopper.

Step 2

Your trucks wash out

Ready-mix drivers rinse their chutes into the container and pump operators empty the hopper into the pump pan. The washout stays contained and off the ground.

Step 3

We haul it away

When it’s getting full, call us. We pick it up, take it off site and handle the disposal.
