Bergen County

Concrete washout for local job sites

Bergen is packed with towns, so most sites are infill: tight lots, busy roads and neighbors on every side.

About 977,026 people live in Bergen (Census QuickFacts, July 1, 2025 estimate), and Hackensack is the county seat. You’ll find job sites along I-80, the Garden State Parkway, and Routes 4, 17 and 46.

How it works

From delivery to pick-up

Step 1

We deliver the container

We set it where your trucks can reach it. The small pans fit tight spots, and the 1.5 yard pan slides under a pump truck hopper.

Step 2

Your trucks wash out

Ready-mix drivers rinse their chutes into the container and pump operators empty the hopper into the pump pan. The washout stays contained and off the ground.

Step 3

We haul it away

When it’s getting full, call us. We pick it up, take it off site and handle the disposal.

Local rules

Washout rules that apply here

In New Jersey you can’t wash out concrete just anywhere. The state’s construction stormwater permit, 5G3, only allows it in a designated washout area, and the hardened concrete has to be removed and disposed of properly. Our container handles the containment, and we take care of the removal.

The Bergen County Soil Conservation District reviews and certifies soil erosion and sediment control plans under the state Soil Erosion and Sediment Control Act for disturbances over 5,000 square feet. Here’s their site: Bergen County Soil Conservation District.
