Concrete washout for local job sites

A sealed container keeps the washout off the ground and out of the water, on a small job or a big one.

About 25,790 people live in Wyoming (U.S. Census Bureau estimate, July 1, 2025), and Tunkhannock is the county seat. You’ll find job sites along US 6, US 11 and Route 29.

For contractors and builders on commercial and residential projects, CleanSite’s concrete washout system is a responsible alternative to the old worksite washout pit: safe containment on the job and pick-up when it’s full.

How it works

From delivery to pick-up

Step 1

We deliver the container

We set it where your trucks can reach it. The small pans fit tight spots, and the 1.5 yard pan slides under a pump truck hopper.

Step 2

Your trucks wash out

Ready-mix drivers rinse their chutes into the container and pump operators empty the hopper into the pump pan. The washout stays contained and off the ground.

Step 3

We haul it away

When it’s getting full, call us. We pick it up, take it off site and handle the disposal.

Local rules

Washout rules that apply here

In Pennsylvania, any job that pours concrete on site needs a washout for the chutes, mixers and hoppers, and the wash water is never allowed to reach surface water. A site that disturbs an acre or more needs NPDES permit coverage before the work starts.

A watertight CleanSite container is the washout. Your trucks rinse into it and it leaves on our truck.

Erosion and sediment control plans go to the state DEP or a county conservation district. Here that’s the Wyoming County Conservation District. Find them here: Wyoming County Conservation District.
