Concrete washout for local job sites
From a single pour to a multi-day job, the washout has to go somewhere it can’t leak. In Connecticut the state permit spells out where.
New Haven County had 864,835 people at the 2020 Census. Connecticut’s counties have not worked as governments since 1960, so there’s no county office to call: your town or city and CT DEEP are the ones to ask. You’ll find job sites along I-91, Route 15 and Route 8.
For contractors and builders on commercial and residential projects, CleanSite’s concrete washout system is a responsible alternative to the old worksite washout pit: safe containment on the job and pick-up when it’s full.

From delivery to pick-up

We deliver the container
We set it where your trucks can reach it. The small pans fit tight spots, and the 1.5 yard pan slides under a pump truck hopper.

Your trucks wash out
Ready-mix drivers rinse their chutes into the container and pump operators empty the hopper into the pump pan. The washout stays contained and off the ground.

We haul it away
When it’s getting full, call us. We pick it up, take it off site and handle the disposal.
Washout rules that apply here
Connecticut puts concrete washout in its construction stormwater permit. On a site of one acre or more, washout has to happen in a designated area with no surface discharge, and the wash water has to go into a leak-proof container or a leak-proof pit.
A watertight CleanSite container gives you that leak-proof container. We pick it up and handle the disposal.
